Thousands of people are reported missing every year in the U.S. and while not every case will get widespread media attention, the coverage of white and minority victims is far from proportionate.
BAM FI has been established as a non-profit organization whose mission is to
- Bring awareness to missing persons of color
- Provide vital resources and tools to missing person's families and friends
- Educate the minority community on personal safety.
This video [BAMFI Human Trafficking Awareness Month Video.mov] shines a light on the founders, the good work of their organization and how we can help them to Help Us Find Us.
